Pangu’s Primordial Agate Pendant Necklace with Turquoise & Dzi

Pangu’s Primordial Layers — A World Taking Form. This handcrafted pendant necklace combines natural agate, turquoise, a Dzi bead, and handwoven cord. Its design draws inspiration from Pangu, the primordial figure who separated heaven and earth in Chinese mythology. The necklace interprets creation as a gradual process. Form emerges from uncertainty, structure develops, and finally a richer world begins to appear.

Natural Agate — The Foundation of Form. Agate gives the necklace its earthy and layered character. Natural bands, colors, and patterns reveal how slowly the stone developed over time. Because every piece forms differently, no two necklaces display exactly the same markings. In this design, agate represents the raw material from which a new world can begin to take shape.

Dzi and Turquoise — Direction and New Color. The Dzi bead creates a strong visual center within the composition. Here, it represents intention: the moment possibility gains direction. Meanwhile, turquoise adds brighter blue-green accents around the darker natural materials. Its color suggests the sky, water, and growing life that appear once creation moves beyond its first foundation.

Inspired by Pangu. Rather than recreating an ancient object, the necklace expresses the creation myth through material progression. Agate represents substance. The central Dzi bead suggests purpose and structure. Turquoise represents the color and diversity that follow. Together, these elements transform Pangu’s story into a contemporary agate necklace with a distinct symbolic identity.

Handcrafted by Yun Agate. We select, arrange, string, and braid every necklace by hand in Fuxin, China. Natural variations remain visible throughout the finished piece.
