Gonggong’s Turbulent Elemental Black Agate Bracelet with Liuli (10mm)

Gonggong’s Turbulent Element — From Darkness to Rebirth. This 10mm bracelet combines natural black agate, white agate, red agate, incense-ash liuli, and handwoven cord. Its design draws inspiration from Gonggong, the water deity whose strike against Mount Buzhou threw heaven and earth into chaos. The bracelet turns that dramatic story into a three-stage journey from ending to transition and finally to renewed movement.

Black Agate — The End of an Old Order. Black agate begins the visual sequence with depth and weight. Its dark tone represents the moment when an existing structure can no longer continue. Rather than treating darkness as defeat, the design presents it as a necessary pause before something different can emerge.

White Agate and Liuli — The Space Between. White agate brings brightness and contrast after the darker beads. Meanwhile, incense-ash liuli adds mottled texture and a sense of memory. Together, they represent the unsettled period after change, when the past has ended but the future is still taking shape. This middle stage gives the bracelet its reflective character.

Red Agate — Movement Returns. Red agate introduces the final burst of warmth. Its scarlet color represents renewed action, determination, and the courage to move forward. As a result, the bracelet develops a clear visual progression: black for ending, white and liuli for transition, and red for rebirth.

Inspired by Gonggong. The design does not celebrate destruction for its own sake. Instead, it focuses on transformation after disruption. The repeated circular form restores order around materials that represent very different stages of change.

Handcrafted by Yun Agate. We select, polish, arrange, string, and braid every bracelet by hand in Fuxin, China. Wear this black agate bracelet as a reminder that rebuilding can follow upheaval, or give it to someone entering a new chapter with courage, awareness, and renewed purpose.
