In Chinese mythology, Nüwa — also commonly written as Nuwa — is the creator goddess remembered for restoring a world on the edge of collapse. When the heavens fractured and disaster spread across the land, she refused to allow creation to fall apart.
Nüwa gathered five-colored stones, melted them and used their brilliant material to repair the broken sky. She restored order above and helped bring stability back to the world below.
Her legend is therefore not only a story of creation, but also one of restoration. Nüwa does not simply return the world to what it was before. She rebuilds harmony from many different pieces. For Yun Agate, this idea is reflected through purple, white and multicolored gemstones — different natural colors brought together to represent renewal, balance and beauty restored after disruption.
